Magdalene Myrraphore Ceremony
for the Healing of the Earth

For our September Magdalene-Christos Shabbat, I will be facilitating a special Magdalene Myrrhophore Ceremony for the Healing of the Earth.
Sacred oils have been used for thousands of years by our ancestors as medicines of the Earth and as vessels of prayer, blessing, healing, and consecration. Within the biblical tradition, anointing carried intention: oils were blessed and offered at sacred thresholds, marking moments of healing, devotion, transition, and communion with the Divine.
But what if we could offer the medicines of the Earth back to the Earth herself? What if we placed our complete faith in the sacred relationship between our breath, our prayer, our intention, and the living essence of the oils? What if anointing could become an act of reciprocity—a way of saying to Mother Earth: As you have given your medicine to us, we now offer it back to you in love.
The intention of this ceremony is therefore twofold: to offer healing to the Earth and to heal our own relationship with her. We will remember the sacredness of being incarnated here—of having a body, breathing her air, drinking her waters, walking upon her soil, and receiving life through her abundance. To be embodied is to be in relationship with the Earth, and within that relationship lives an extraordinary creative power: the capacity to give form to the deepest desires and highest expressions of the soul.
Through the flame of the Magdalene-Christos, we will bless and restore a relationship that has always been meant to be sacred: the relationship between the human and the living Earth.
For Divine Love longs to give itself form. It becomes visible through creation, through the body, through beauty, through our hands, our voices, our choices, and the way we inhabit this Earth. And so we will enter a deeper question together:
What if we consciously became vessels through which Divine Love could take form? What if our lives themselves became an anointing—an offering of love poured upon the Earth?
Our monthly Shabbats are online gatherings, and the donation requested is offered in support of the children we sponsor in India, contributing to their food, clothing, and education. At “The Desert Rose Mystery School”, we are deeply grateful for your generosity and for being part of this shared field of giving and care.
This holy feast of bread and wine, of Divine Union and Remembrance, is what I have called the Magdalene – Christos Shabbat.
Magdalene is the capacity to receive, to feel, to embody, to hold the mystery within form.
Christos is the living light of consciousness, the awakened intelligence that longs to express, to radiate, and to become known. Magdalene–Christos, is no longer about two figures, nor even two principles. It is a state of being, a consciousness. A state in which the body becomes a temple of living light, where the soul returns to wholeness, and where love is a lived experience—moving, breathing, and expressing through the human form.
What to Prepare
- A Prayer Shawl or Head Covering if you would like to contain the Sacred Energy within you.
- A chalice-bowl of fresh water
- Bread and fruit juice /wine/rose water/pomegranate juice
- 2 candles
- In this particular Shabbat, essential oils of Myrrh and Cedarwood and Oilive Oil Carrier Oil.
- Incense, palo Santo or smudging herbs (sage, juniper, etc)
- If you have a drum, please bring it, as it is a great opportunity to drum along with me (you don´t need to have one).
Shabbats are for Women and Men who sacredly desire to commune with the Magdalene – Christos Current.
