When I received my first visitation of Mary Magdalene in 2011, I knew I was being called to walk forward and bring her teachings into form. Within those visions, I was shown a specific ceremony, though its full expression did not reveal itself until 2012, when I channeled and co-created, through divine inspiration and committed will, the first Mary Magdalene Priestess and Priest Training. From that transmission emerged the Magdalene Alaha Shela Ceremonies, sacred gatherings rooted in prayer, sound, embodiment, and revelation. The word Shela in Aramaic does indeed mean “to pray,” yet its essence reaches far deeper. Shela also means:
- to be covered,
- to enter within,
- to rest in the stillness where soul meets Spirit.
This is the foundation of our practice. Through Shela, we journey month by month with the teachings and transmissions of the Desert Rose, the Mysteries of Light that reveal the eternal dance between creation and devotion.
